The hotel was beautifully designed and the homemade local food was amazing at very reasonable prices. The owners were friendly and welcoming which added a nice personal touch. The location was perfect for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy being surrounded by nature. The complimentary water, coffee and ice cream by the pool was a nice touch.
there were quite a few mosquitos and wasps around which could have been managed better by the hotel staff. Finally, the hotel is quite isolated which is great for those looking for a quiet getaway, but it can be inconvenient to have to drive quite far for other dining or recreational options on New Year's Eve.
